Background
MidAmerican Energy Company is an energy company based in Des Moines, Iowa. Its service area includes almost two-thirds of Iowa, as well as portions of Illinois, South Dakota, and Nebraska. Its territory is wholly encompassed by the territory of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator. MidAmerican Energy partnered with Nexant to develop a program website to align with new brand standards for the Trade Ally Program. The Nexant Program Marketing staff is working to create a mobile-responsive and user-friendly site. The new website provides a one-stop source for the Trade Ally Program information and additional resources.

Redesign existing site into a more dynamic and responsive website for the Trade Ally Program.

Results
MidAmerican Energy’s former website is outdated, difficult to manage, and offers little in the way of valuable resources. Nexant is collaborating with MidAmerican staff to expand online function, improve usability, and provide the customers and Trade Allies with better access to services and resources. The site features a breadth of the custom site components including state-specific content and resources. The new website addresses all staff, customer and Trade Ally needs and has received a positive response sinces its launch in January, 2021.
